Rental Assistance Up To $45 Billion Could be available soon

As the pandemic has continued its impact, millions of renters have felt the impact and need help with rent during Covid. While the stimulus package in December included funds to help with rent, more is coming. The American Rescue Plan includes additional funds. The package in December included $25 billion for each state, and the new American Rescue Plan includes an additional $20 billion for each state.
While having this money available is helpful, there is always the issue of applying and getting access to it. It is tricky because each state has its own process, and some states are still trying to figure out how to distribute the funds from December.
